Pershing Center is one fo the best places of conducting various sports events in Lincoln. The arena is owned by the city and mananged by SMG. The sprots arena has a historic value too. Many of the prestigious sports event of Lincoln are held in the arena. Pershing Center was also the home gorund of Lincoln Capitol.
Located near the Nebraska State Capitol the Pershing Center is a tourist attraction in the downtown of Lincoln. The famous down town hotels, restaurants as well as the Universitry of Nebraska Campus is just around the corner.

Pershing Center has more tha 44000 sq ft exhibit space where different exhibitions, trade shows and hospitality events are organized from time to time. There is also scope for organising some special events too.
The capacity of Pershing Center is very good as it can accommodate up to 7000 persons. The seating arrangement of the the arena is largely permanent though there are portable seating arrangements to be used during the big games too. The open floor of Pershing Center can accommodate anohe 500 people. The indoor football, volleyball and basketball games generally pull a crowd of 4500 to 6000 people. At the east end of the arena there is a Proscenium stage.
The facilities in Pershing Center includes a variety of services. It is a perfect place to organize banquate parties and dinners. For smaller meetings, concerts, lectures and other important events Pershing Center provides a half house curtain divider. The sound system of the arena can also be put to use for these occassions. The exhibit hall of Pershing Center can hold a dinner of around 1500 people.
