Lincoln Saltdogs are one of the independent miron league baseball team. The team is loacated in Lincoln in Nebraska. The logo of the team feature a dog with a baseball. Lincoln Saltdogs are one of the most famous baseball team of Lincoln to perform in the minor league.
Lincoln Saltdogs was earlier known as Madison Black Wolf from the year 1996 to 2000. Later when the team decided to fuld up and move to Lincoln, the name of the team was changed to its present name in the year 2001. from the year 2001 to 2005 Lincoln Saltdogs were a part of the memebers of the independent Northern League.

After the season of 2005 the team along with several other teams like St. Paul Saints, Sioux City Explorer and Sioux Falls Canaries left the Northern Leuage. After leaving Neorthern League the above mentioned teams found American Association.
Lincoln Saltdogs hold all their hoem games at Haymarket Park. In the year 2007 Lincoln Saltdogs has a winning streak of 14 games. The win streak of Lincoln Saltdogs was consisdered as the longest win streak in the history of the team. They also bagged their first afl title with a record of 33-13. eight players form Lincoln Saltdogs team were invited to all-star game.
The color of Lincoln Saltdogs is a combination of Navy Blure and red. The team won two league titles in the year 2001 and 2006 respectively. The owner of the team is Jim Abel while the manager of the team is Tim Johnson. The Lincoln Saltdogs team includes 39 players. Aaron Mendoza, Matt Duchek, Joe Dempsey, Cody Lusero, Josh Patton, Brett Cooley, Bryan Warner, Pichi Balet, Joe Brown, Matt Varner, Kyle Ruwe, John Kaminski, Dan Reichert and Jarrett Gardener are a part of the recent team of Lincoln Saltdogs.
