Haymarket Park is a famous complex in lincoln that holds baseball and softball games. According to many Haymarket Park is a smaller version of famous Victoria Field that is situated in Indiannapolis. The basic structure of the park is just like any other park of this kind but whatr makes it stand out from others is a small upper deck.

Opened in the year 2001 Haymarket Park is situated in a beautiful location from where one can get good view of the memorial Stadium which is the venue of all the important football games held at Nebraska. The skyline of Lincoln, which includes the state captol is clearly visible from the park. The park has an open concourse all aorund the elgant park, the venue of the softball and baseball games. This ensures that when the stadium becomes overcrowded some people can actually seat on the berms that are filled with fresh green grass.
Haymarket Park has great sightlines, so that the visitors can have a better view of te game. The park has lower level seats close to the gorund so that the person seating there neer misses an action. Though a little far from the gorund the upper deck seats too gives a good view of the game too. On the top of the Upper deck the luxury boxes are situated. There are different concessions available at Haymarket Park and all of them are very reasonably priced. The speciality of the park is Runza, a spicy eat sandwitch.
Other than the concessions the facilities in Haymarket Park include some sound effects and musical selections including the organ music. The teams shoot hot dogs from a shooter to the stands. There are plenty of free parking space available aroud the park. The capacity of Haymarket Park is 8500seats. The teams of Haymarket Park include lincoln Saltdogs minor league baseball team and the Nebraska-Lincoln Cornhuskers college base ball and softball team. The softball stadium has a capacity of 2500 people.
