Dick Cheney, the Vice President of the United States, was born in the year 1941. He is infact the forty sixth President of the United States. He has served the White House Chief of Staff and was also a member of the United States House of Representatives. Apart from this, he was also the chairman as well as the Chief Executive Officer of the Halliburton Energy Services. Dick Cheney has also served as the acting President in place of Mr George Bush when he was under a major operation.

At a very young age, Dick Cheney was appointed as a CEO of a famous multinational company. Cheney came out with flying colors in his graduation in Political Science. He also succeeded to win the scholarship while studying in the Yale University. Later on, he acquired the first position in the Nixon Administration as a Special Assistant. In the year 1992, when George Bush departed from office for a major operation of Anesthesia, Dick Cheney acted as the President on the behalf of George Bush. Just before Dick Cheney was made the Vice President, he worked in private sectors for a few years. Being an experienced person by working in a world famous oil company, Dick Cheney fetched a huge income of about three and a half billion dollars. This was the major turning point of his life, which made him one of the most famous personalities in the world.
As far as his political career is concerned, it started in the year 1969. Dick Cheney worked under the famous President, Gerald Ford. This fetched him the tacts and techniques of how to perform the duties of Presidentship. For the Presidential Campaign of 1976, Cheney became the Campaign manager. Today, Dick Cheney is one of the best vice presidents of the world.
